MONDAY MINDSET

Start your week with the right mindset to live a Life Designed by God

Colossians 3:2 (ESV)
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

God said Yes!!! Can you say Amen?

2 Corinthians 1:20 (NIV)
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

If God said it, then I believe it. The promises of God have already been affirmed by Him. So, all we should do is say Amen in agreement to recognize God's promise and glorify him. God is not a man that He should lie or that His words come back void. He has already won and is victorious of the schemes and plots of the enemy. So what are some of the promises of God? I believe King David understood the promises of God when he wrote Psalms 23. Let's break it down:

Psalms 23 (NIV)

The Lord is my shepherd, God promises to watch over you - Genesis 28:15; John 10:11

I lack nothing. God Promises to provide you with all you need - Matthew 6:31-33 He makes me lie down in green pastures, God promises to give you rest - Matthew 11:28-30 he leads me beside quiet waters, God promises to give you peace - Isaiah 26:3 he refreshes my soul. God Promises to renew you - Isaiah 40:31 He guides me along the right paths God promises to guide you - Isaiah 58:11, Proverbs 3:5-6 for his name’s sake. (We must trust and belief in the Lord to benefit for these provisions and promises.)

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; God promises that even when things get dark and hard, He promises to be with you - Isaiah 41:10 your rod and your staff, they comfort me. God promises that he will give you what you need to be comforted. - 2 Corinthians 1:3

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. God promises that no weapon formed against you will prosper and you; the enemy cannot win; he came to give you life despite the attacks of the enemy. Isaiah 54:17; John 10:10 You anoint my head with oil; God promises to always shower you with his love - Lamentations 3:22-23 my cup overflows. - Ephesians 3:20 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, God promises you grace and mercy - 2 Timothy 1:9; Micah 7:18 and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. God promises that there is a place prepared for you. - John 14:1-3

These are just a few of the promises. We must remember that God loves us and He will provide for all of our needs and godly desires. We just have to believe and trust in Him so that we can obtain His promises and Live Life Designed by God. Can God get an 'Amen'?

Amen!

Stay Encouraged,

Minister Dr. Dietrich
