WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?
The answer: Everything!!!!! I may be telling my age with this line from the movie with the same title. LOL. I often would say it or sing it as a sarcastic response. But in reality, God Loves each and every one of us. Despite our physical abuse towards Him when He walked the Earth. Despite our neglecting Him and turning our backs on Him over and over and over and over again. Today, we are still abusing and neglecting God, but guess what? He still LOVES us and makes sure we have everything we need. Don't believe me, go to the Word - Romans 5:8 (NIV) "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." When we have neglected or forgotten God, He does not neglect or forget us. He still shows/demonstrates His love for us. Not past tense (showed, demonstrated), but present tense (shows, demonstrates). That means He is still loving us through our disobedience and mess. He waits on us to repent and return to Him like the prodigal son and embraces us with loving arms and joy upon our return.
So, live like Love Got Everything to do with it. Remember when you are feeling down or even when you messed up that God Loves you, and so do I and there is nothing you can do about it!!!!! Get up, repent, carry on and let's Live Life Designed by God and embrace His Love.
